Our arty birthday parties are a unique and unforgettable experience where young artists can celebrate with their friends while creating their own masterpieces.
From themed decorations to personalised art projects, we ensure every moment is filled with laughter, joy, and, of course, artistic flair. Suitable for children 8+ years, with group sizes of up to 16, and we’re more than happy to tailor things to your specific needs!
A birthday party isn’t just a celebration, it’s a chance for kids to let their imaginations and creativity run wild!

Gather your group
The party lasts up to 1 hour and 15 minutes, offering a fun, creative experience for everyone! All materials, aprons, and guidance from our friendly instructors are included. Each child will finish their own masterpiece to take home, creating a lasting memory of the day!
PARTy Information:
Duration: Enjoy 1 hour and 15 minutes of art activity, with any refreshments, food and cake to be brought by you and be offered after the activities.
Minimum Booking: A £50 deposit is required at the time of booking. We have a minimum booking of 12 children.
Cost: is £24 per head for one activity. We can do an additional activity for an extra cost (£26).
Slot availability: Slots are available on Saturdays or Sundays.
Location: Studio 48, Newhaven Road, EH6 5QB
Parking: There is on-street parking available, or you can use the car park accessible through the wee vennel off Newhaven Road.
All materials provided! Please bring your own refreshments, cake, and snacks!
Please note: While aprons are provided, art can get messy - so please dress your child in appropriate, comfortable clothing for the party.
I knew Sally was fab but Freyas canvas painting party was brilliant and beyond expectations. The kids were engaged from walking through the door till the end of the party. Sally and her ladies were great at guiding the kids while allowing them to express their art in their own way. I can't recommend Sally enough.

KIND WORDS
Our daughter celebrated her 9th Birthday with her friends making jewellery with Sally. Everyone had a lovely time, including the parents.
All the children's parents said how lovely and relaxed the party was and how the kids had a lovely time. We would highly recommend studio 48 for any party 😊

We had a 7yr old birthday party here with 17 kids. Sally was great and had arranged for 2 extra helpers. The kids were used to trampoline park and soft play parties but they got stuck into crafts for an hour and a quarter. We were worried there wouldn't be enough to fill the time but the kids loved it and we had to try and stop them creating more things when it got to pick up time.
Great choice for a kids party who likes crafty things.

My daughter had her 9th Birthday party at Studio 48 painting cute animals on canvas. Sally took good care of the girls from the moment they entered the studio and supported them throughout the activities. The place is very spacious, bright, beautifully decorated with lights and art work. The girls could also ask for their favourite songs to be played while they were painting. The parents were very impressed with the place and each girl took a beautiful canvas back home. Sally made us feel relaxed during the party. Thank you for making our daughter's birthday special :)
Sally is very talented and really great with the kids. It's so nice for them to have something every week which is fun and interesting, where they are supported and challenged - you never get the impression that they are told what to do (or what not to do) but rather inspired and encouraged.
