Paper Plate Santa
What could be more festive than Santa himself? With not much more than just a bit of glue, paper, and a plate, you can have your own little Santa.
Materials:
Paper plate
Beige coloured acrylic paint
Paint brush
Red and white cardstock paper
2 large googly eyes
Red pom pom
Glue
Method:
Cut off the top third section off of your paper plate. Paint the inside circle of the paper plate with the paint and set it aside to dry.
Cut the red cardstock paper into a 6 inch triangle.
Cut the white cardstock paper into two 2-inch circles and cut one of those circles in half.
Cut a ¾ inch strip of white paper, for the brim.
Apply glue to the back of the dried plate and stick to the red triangle, about halfway up. Glue the white circle at the top of the triangle, and the white strip at the top of the plate.
Continue by gluing on the google eyes, and then the two semi circles for the moustache. Finally, glue the red pom pom in the middle to complete Santa’s nose.
